WhoWorked vs Clockify
Clockify tracks the hours your people work. WhoWorked tracks those, plus the hours your AI agents work, on the same timesheet.
WhoWorked vs Clockify in short
- Clockify records time worked by people. WhoWorked records time worked by people and by AI agents on the same timesheet.
- WhoWorked attributes each entry to a human or a named AI agent, and stores the model, token count and cost alongside it. Clockify has no equivalent field.
- WhoWorked reports a leverage ratio per project, comparing agent hours against human hours. Clockify reports human hours only.
- WhoWorked imports a Clockify workspace directly over the Clockify API, including projects, clients and historical entries.

What is the difference between WhoWorked and Clockify?
Clockify is a generous and well-built time tracker. Timers, manual entries, projects, clients and reporting all work properly, and teams whose work is done entirely by people are well served by it.
The gap opens once AI agents start doing billable work. When an agent writes the migration script or drafts the client research, Clockify has nowhere to put that time: its data model assumes a human user behind every entry. The hours either get logged against a person who supervised rather than worked, or they go untracked and quietly vanish from the delivery record.
WhoWorked keeps the familiar half (timers, clients, projects, approvals, CSV export) and adds a second half for agent work. An agent connects over MCP or REST and writes its own sessions, and each entry carries whether a human or an agent did the work, which model ran, how many tokens it burned and what it cost.
When Clockify is the better choice
Choose Clockify if your team does not use AI agents on billable work. Clockify covers human time tracking completely, and the second half of WhoWorked only earns its place once agents are doing work you need to account for.
